Hey guys !
How are you ?
Alright now I’m fed up with winter and I’m looking forward to be in summer again.
So today I’m doing a small post about my summer place : Penmarc’h in Brittany. My parents bought a field here 20 years ago and it feels so great to have a place to stay in summer just for relax (it’s located 200m from a small beach and 2km away from the the surf spot, so we kinda have the choice for the activities).
I’ve spent most of my summers holidays out there, where I’ve learnt sailing, surfing, windsurfing, paddling, kayaking.. (and also fishing but I gave up this really quickly hahaha) and even though I love traveling and going to new places, I do love being there doing literally nothing more than tanning and enjoying the ocean !
Here are some shots, for those who’re wondering where to go in France in summer : you’ve got your answer ! (and if you don’t, just know that it is usually super hot in July and August, way less crowded than the french riviera, and at least there is actual sand on the beach ! héhéhé)
If you’re looking for an accommodation to stay, look around those places : Penmarc’h, Plomeur (La Torche), Pont-Labbé (a bit further) and Le Guilvinec.. The culture here is amazing, the food is so delicious (fresh fish, crepes, and so on..) and in summer there are always music nights etc.. love the atmosphere !
As I’m writing this article, I’m suffering from the wisdom teeth removal pain. Omg I do hate everything related to medical stuff and admire people working in that field.
I got lucky, everyone was so nice with me that I got less stressed than I thought. Now I just need to relax, sleep and heal.. Looking forward to be able to eat again !
So at the beginning of the week I did a small getaway to Paris. I’m probably the only person in this world who doesn’t like Paris. I mean this is the noisiest, dirtiest and most stressful city ever, full of pigeons and angry people… But at this time of the year it was pretty empty of tourists, and Parisians were at work.
Here are some few shots I did at the Louvre and the Galerie Vivienne (one of my fav hidden place).
Hope you’re doing well,
Arc de triomphe du Carrousel
From the Pont des Arts (you know, the former bridge with lockers)
I start 2017 with a small review from my beautiful region : La Bretagne (Brittany). I mean, we can roam the planet, we have great places at home as well ! ⚓️
I’ve been to Quiberon shooting some pictures for a friend and we got lucky with the weather (I wanted a good light to play with lens flares…)
I give you a small preview of the place and some pictures he took of me (I don’t really want to share the pictures of him).
It’s always funny to shoot with friends, they try my camera and the first pictures they take are always either blurry or out of focus or not with the right light.. you know not as I would shot. But it’s always a great moment full of laughs hahaha !😄
Anyway he managed to take really great shots out of the amount of failed ones ! and after editing them I’m super happy with the result!
I’m practicing new ways of editing my pictures, using Photoshop, Lightroom and VSCo, I kind of want to change a bit my Instagram color grid.
Tell me what you think about them 😊
I’m heading to Paris tomorrow, and then going on a surgery 😭 I’ll have time to publish and share with you some pictures during the week and the one after !
Cheers ! 💙
I’ve lived 6 months not far from Nürnberg (Germany) and before leaving the country for an indefinite period, I took a day to go to Bamberg, a beautiful city which is a UNESCO World heritage site.
I’ve heard about it from everyone so I decided to go there to see by myself and truth is, I haven’t been disappointed !
This is a lovely Bavarian city on the river Regnitz. You can see old houses with private docks and I’m still wondering how they do to avoid the floods in winter…
The best building goes to the old town hall (Altes Rathause) build on a bridge. This building is so photogenic ! love it !
You can climb a little and go to the old palace next to the cathedral, and you’ll have a nice view of the town.
Take the time to stop and eat in one of the traditional Bavarian restaurant (or Franconian: the region which belongs to Bavaria). You’ll have some Schnitzels, Wurst, or Sauerkraut (drink that with a Radler 🍻)! 😉 (very light meal).🍽
They’re also lots of stores in the city and after a shopping session, just enjoy a nice ice cream (my fav goes to the Stracciatella Becher
So if you’re planning a trip in South Germany, you definitely should have a stop in Bamberg !❣️
Hope you enjoyed this article !
Coming back soon with my outfit mood of the month ! 🎄
I’m back with a new place to show you : Cap Blanc in Mallorca. It’s the most incredible place I’ve ever seen… It’s located not far from Palma, close to the small city Llucmajor.
The first thing to see is the Lighthouse which is a military base (and prohibited to the public), but you’ll find a small path along it which will bring you next to it. And as you’ll get closer to the lighthouse you’ll suddenly arrive at the end of the cliff, 90m above the sea… Quite impressive and breathtaking.
Take the time to do the walk/hike along the cliff, it’s really worth it, and if you’ve got some time, wait for the sunset !
I personally climbed on the small tower that you can see on the pictures (don’t know if that was allowed though…) it’s a bit scary but I’m glad I did it 😎
There is something magical in this place, you feel so small compared to that landscape.. Nature can be pretty impressive and I have to say that I was totally blown away by this place. I highly recommend it !👍🏼
